A perfect place to learn, play & grow

Bellementary Bilingual Elementary Programme
Jingle Bellementary is a unique bilingual elementary program for children aged 6–11 (Grades 1–5) that combines elements of the International Curriculum with the Czech Basic School requirements.
The program originally grew out of a parent-led learning community. A group of Jingle Bells families were looking for a modern educational environment – fully bilingual (Czech–English), focused on communication, individual strengths, physical activity and, most importantly, learning together as a community.
Today, Bellementary continues to build on these values, offering a supportive and inspiring environment where children feel confident, curious and motivated to learn.
Our programme is open to both Czech and International families. A basic knowledge of English is required, as most subjects are taught in English.
Thanks to small class sizes, each child receives individual attention while developing independence, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Curriculum
Our curriculum is primarily taught in English and covers a broad range of academic and creative subjects.
At the same time, it is recognised by the Czech education system. Our children are registered as homeschoolers with Základní škola Hartmanice and receive an official Czech vysvědčení at the end of each term.
We believe in hands-on learning. Alongside traditional academic study, our classes include individual and team projects, role-playing activities and plenty of opportunities to learn by doing.
Our typical daily schedule is structured as follows: lessons run from 08:30 to 15:00, including at least two hours of outdoor time, as well as lunch and two snacks. After 15:00, children are welcome to join our afternoon clubs and can stay at school until 17:00.

Our additional subjects

Some children eager to explore more. For them, we offer a range of optional subjects.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
Children enjoy two one-hour outdoor free-play sessions every day, supporting both physical health and emotional wellbeing.
And every Friday students explore Prague and its surroundings through educational trips to:
• museums and art galleries
• historical and cultural sites
• nature locations
• sports and activity centres... and many more!

Homeschoolers Welcome
We are happy to welcome homeschooled children to join selected lessons at Jingle Bells or take part in our weekly Friday trips.
While homeschooling offers many benefits, we believe that some subjects are especially valuable to explore in a group setting, guided by experienced teachers. Joining individual lessons gives children the opportunity to collaborate, share ideas and learn in a dynamic and social environment.
Every Friday we organise educational trips and programmes across Prague and beyond. These often include experiences that are not easily accessible for individual families, and we are always happy to welcome new children to join us on these trips.
We offer a flexible approach – children can join selected lessons, specific days or just the Friday trips, depending on your needs.
Get in touch with us to discuss our current schedule, your child’s interests and how we can create the best plan for you.

Afternoon clubs

Every day, children can take part in a variety of afternoon clubs and stay at school until 17:00. All clubs are included for Bellementary students, so there are no additional fees for parents.
Our programme includes a range of engaging activities such as cooking, art, engineering projects, and music: each designed to spark curiosity and creativity in a different way.
In our art club, children explore different artistic techniques and styles, learning about how art is created and trying to recreate these approaches in their own work.
During music sessions, children learn to play and perform modern songs using instruments such as boomwhackers, developing their sense of rhythm, coordination, and confidence.
In cooking club, children prepare simple, tasty, and healthy dishes that they can easily recreate at home, helping them build practical life skills and a positive relationship with food.
In our engineering club, children design and build fun and creative constructions, experimenting with different materials and ideas while developing problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Together, these activities keep children engaged, curious, and excited to stay longer at the school each afternoon.
